    1. Cage Care

    Caring for a bird takes a lot of time. First start with the cage, make sure you pick the right cage size for the bird. Birds should not be in the cage all day. The cage should be cleaned on a weekly bases.

    2. Food and Water

    Most people think a seed based diet, but seeds should only be 30% of the birds diet. They should have a pellet based diet for the majority. They should be given fresh fruit and vegtibles daily as part of there diet as well.

    3. Bonding

    Bonding with your new pet bird is a huge part of there care. Along with everything out if they don't have a large cage to be able to stretch there wings and get some flight, they should be outside of the cage between 30 minutes to 1 hour minimum a day to get proper exercise. This outside of the cage time is great for there health but as well as bonding with there human.
